The LEADER Jumbo Ring Expander is ideal for castrating older calves up until the 6 month NZ Animal Welfare legal age limit. Delaying castration to this point means you can obtain a better muscled and heavier calf. For animals over 6 months old please refer to the NZ Animal Welfare rules regarding required pain relief. The Rings have a diameter of 19mm, width of 10mm and open in a 90mmX70mmX70mm triangular shape. The rings are UNIQUE to LEADER, being round like Standard LEADER rings. The ring dimensions are ID 9 mm X OD 21 mm X 8 mm thick and are covered in an antiseptic powder.
