This ceramic rumen bolus is approved for use in the Australian National Livestock Identification Scheme combined with a matching farm management tag. Only one insertion is required to enable lifetime traceability. 100% retention rate (when inserted correctly). Deterrent to stock theft. Tested and approved safe for use in food and milk producing animals. Usually supplied with matching visual management tags.

HDX CATTLE BOLUS
This Cattle Bolus is made of high-quality ceramic and features a 32mm HDX transponder which provides maximum read distances. Leader ceramic NLIS bolus can be supplied with an identifying 2-piece Flexible Management Tag marked with the word 'Bolus' and identifier / number. This bolus tag combination will provide an RFID system for the animal's lifetime.
Applicator
Boluses can be inserted with the HDX Cattle Bolus Applicator. Management Tags can be applied with Plastic Fast Tagger, Aluminium Fast Tagger or Flexible Tag Applicator (Standard).

HDX SHEEP BOLUS
This Sheep Bolus is made of high-quality ceramic and features a 32mm HDX transponder which provides maximum read distances. The boluses can be matched with any Visual Sheep Tags. This combination can provide an RFID system for the animal's lifetime. The bolus can be inserted in lambs (suggested minimum weight 12kg). Ideal for fleece testing, auto drafting and stock theft control.

Boluses can be inserted with the HDX Sheep Bolus Applicator.

HDX SHEEP BOLUS APPLICATOR
This applicator is used to apply the Leader HDX Sheep Bolus. The bolus is inserted in the end and the button on the top of the handle is used to release the bolus.
